Who We Are…
For more than half a century the Colorado Springs Symphonic Guild (formerly the Colorado Springs Symphony Guild) has actively supported symphonic music in the Pikes Peak region. The Guild has recently expanded its focus by requesting applications for and awarding grants to non-profits to benefit musicians in both professional and near professional adult and youth groups in our community.
Our Purpose is to…
- Support symphonic music in the Pikes Peak region through volunteer activities, scholarships, and grants.
- Welcome new members and promote an atmosphere of friendship through social activities and enjoyment of symphonic music among men and women of all ages.

A concert about to begin.
Support our gift giving through varied fundraising projects. In recent years the Guild has raised over a half million dollars in support of Colorado Springs symphonic music organizations including the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, The Colorado Springs Youth Symphony and other musical groups who employ symphonic instrumentalists for their performances. Annually the Guild awards music scholarships to the three top winners of the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony's annual Young Artist Solo Competition. One of our winners in 2005 was John Napier, violinist. This Spring of 2006 he has won the Music Teachers' National Association annual student competition at both the state and regional levels. In late March he will compete for the national prize in Austin, Texas. He will compete as a 15-year old in the 15 - 18 age bracket. Congratulations to John!
